In April 2025, the City of Ramat Gan launched RGpt, Israel’s first and most advanced municipal generative AI chatbot — a pioneering digital service enabling residents to receive instant, accurate and personalized responses in natural language across six languages.

A Unique Collaboration — Led End-to-End by Matrix Digital

The RGpt program was delivered through an exceptional multi-vendor collaboration, led end-to-end by Matrix Digital, the city’s digital transformation partner and integrator of the entire initiative.

The project brought together the strengths of leading industry innovators:

• Matrix Digital — prime integrator and program lead, developer of the Ramat Gan municipal website and responsible for delivering the full RGpt solution from concept to implementation
• Check Point — provider of advanced security platforms tailored to securing generative AI environments
• AWS — supplier of cutting-edge LLM capabilities powering multilingual conversational interaction
• Botica — provider of the dedicated Back Office platform for validation, moderation and quality monitoring of chatbot responses
